Working in harmony with the local area and our neighbours in the
community is important to RenoBuild.
We address the social and economic relationship with the communities we serve, by
involving local people through listening to their views or providing training and
support for local people, for example, where and when possible.
We are firmly committed to continuous improvement
and efficiency within the business for the benefit of our customers, staff, shareholders
and other stakeholders, and have implemented a policy of continuous improvement
throughout our business.
We pursue improvement in every part of our organisation and we encourage all our
staff to embrace this culture. It is through this ethos that we can all work in
a better way to reduce cost and maximise value to our customers. We consider the
following areas to be important to ensure continuous improvement in a contracting
environment:
- improving customer service
- properly understanding customer requirements
and priorities
- working towards zero defects
- entering into meaningful partnering arrangements
with the supply team
- improving safety and environmental awareness
and performance
- determining industry best practice
Many of the improvements we are making are beyond
the current legislation demands and form an essential support for the operating
process, the foundation of which is the
RenoBuild
Management System.
The
RenoBuild
Management System (RMS) is an integrated system that
provides the framework for risk management in all activities across the business,
confirming mandatory requirements and setting best practice guidance. At
RenoBuild
we believe that 'integrated management' is a consistent, coherent and combined way
of managing risk arising from any and all of our activities, in a collective and
simultaneous way. This avoids duplication and takes into account all business requirements,
therefore demonstrating the practical application of The
RenoBuild
Way.
The RMS provides an assurance to customers, supported
through documented records, that all projects are completed in accordance with customer
requirements and relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
The RMS derives its authority from the Executive Manual,
the top level document to which all senior management are categorically required
to adhere.
The RMS is based of the following:
- Integrated Management System
- Quality Management System
- Environmental Management System
- Occupational Health and Safety Management
The scope of the manual is for "the management
of design services for design and build contracts and the construction, improvement,
repair and maintenance of commercial, public and residential buildings" and applies
to all RenoBuild
construction activities.
